the lost generation

This interactive reading experience explores a lengthy article from the Global Post on the Syrian Refugee crisis. The interface is designed to promote direct interaction with the individual refugees stories as well as providing critical information centered around migration. The goal of this design provides a new way to interact with a very long article in a meaningful way. With the topic of Syrian refugees being very emotional, my initial goal was to provide an emotional reading experience where there was individual interaction with the Syrian Refugee stories. This “The Lost Generation” refers to the millions of children that have either died along the way or had to grow up within a few months, losing their entire sense of innocence or childhood.
